Hi, and welcome to our Creative Community. I'm capitalizing that because this feels caps-worthy. It's exciting, and I'm excited you're here. Without you this is just a website and I'm just someone typing on a website that nobody knows or cares about. I'd hate that for us. We have an opportunity here to build this into a space where we can highlight our creativity and really feel good about it, however that shows up. This is a space to show, learn, try, and create. I encourage you to use this space to live your best creative life and to be able to celebrate that life with others. I want to see the creative projects you're working on and for us to hold each other accountable. To best engage with this forum and this (upper case emphasized) Creative Community, there are a few guidelines I'm asking everyone to respect:
The super official Creative Community guidelines:
- Don't be an asshat. Seriously, let's be nice. There are plenty of comment sections on the internet where you can be foul. Let's all agree to have at least one place that isn't that.
- Respect the work. ALL the work (including your own, my self-critical friends).
- Feel free to post in-progress work, masterpieces, or even the roughest of ideas.
- Please do not take credit for others work, which could really go under the "Respect the work" category...
- If you post a link, please keep it appropriate. I'm fine with a little healthy self-promotion, provided it is relevant and creative.
- If something does not follow these guidelines, I reserve the right to remove your post. Please don't make me do that - I don't want to be the asshat.
- I wasn't going to say something about having fun, but nobody likes forced fun. You do you (I'm going to have fun here, though).
- You are creative. You are enough. You are where you need to be.
